Marysville Anglican Church

Almond Glassworks were involved from the beginning of the discussions that would ultimately see a new church built on the original site of the Heritage building, destroyed by bush fire in 2009. Budget restraints and community requirements saw some concepts develop, that would never come to fruition such as this initial concept for the 'Four Elements' windows.
These windows were never made however interest in the concept was retained and fused as the new Church was finally to be built. The new windows had romanesque heads and were slightly shorter than the predecessors. This saw the need to redesign with the intention of not losing the sensibility of the initial concept. The theme of earth, wind, fire and water was retained and made into the group of four windows depicted below.
